The DLG family is welcoming a new human puppy! That’s right, Pants is going to become a big sister in the fall. To help with my maternity leave, I’m looking for a few people who have a DLG article in them. Are you one of those people?

Help Make Dog Lover’s Guide into a Book!

From the first time I thought of Dog Lover’s Guide to Feeling Better, I’ve dreamed of it being a book. I think this could really happen, but I need your help.

If you don’t know much about the publishing industry, here’s the deal: to publish a nonfiction book, you need what’s called a platform. A platform is a large number of people who are jazzed about what you’re doing—it could be a social media following, an email list, or some other type of group.

Guess what? I have a literary agent interested in the book (and she’s so perfect for it!), BUT she says I need 10,000 subscribers. There are 2,100 of you marvelous Pants fans right now.
