Pants is smart. She probably wanted to be with you and escaped thru the window in search of her new mama.

I’ve always felt so honored that she chose to stay instead of running. It was humbling in some way.

Pants is the absolute best dog name ever. Great piece.

Agreed, and we can thank my wife for that one! She had Pants’ name picked out before we even got her. 😂

I also didn’t love Moshi Moshi at first sight. In fact, I ranked her number 5. Out of 5. In the litter. 🤣🤣🤣 But turned out my mental health is better with her. But you know it was pretty great before so now it’s just greater so….😝😝😝😝

Aww poor Mashy Mosh. She really is perfect for you. Very demure. Very mindful.

If I had a dog, and my dog could talk CBT when needed, and otherwise just love me unconditionally with wags and licks and snuggles (like they usually do), I would stop therapy and spend all of that money on joint doggy vacations. Seriously.

I would happily be out of a job if everyone could have this!

This story melts my heart. Obviously she came looking for you and when she didn't find you, she stayed, hoping you'd return 💗💗 I almost forgot we were talking about therapists here.

When you think about it, it’s pretty wild that she stayed. I mean, literally a week after we got her, she got spayed. I’m just imagining what that was like for her - she goes to this stranger’s house, then not long after experiences something that results in a lot of pain. What a scary experience! And even so, she stayed. Absolutely incredible.

Wow. I've never had anyone outline why it is so challenging to find the right therapist. This piece explains it clearly -- and with humor. Pants, we love you and are so glad you found the best home (and therapist)!

So true. I often wonder why this perfect relationship, always available to anyone with an open heart, is so undervalued or lesser known.

Sometimes relationships can be scary, especially the ones where we feel the most cared for or understood.
